Meet the Math Tutors

Hello! I am Ms. Flores and I am the 3rd-7th grade math tutor.

I’ve been a teacher for the past decade. I am a lifelong resident of Dallas, TX. I attended St. Monica and graduated high school at Bishop Lynch. I then received my education degree at Texas Tech University. Go Red Raiders!

After I graduated, I taught 3rd grade math, science, social studies, and religion at St. Elizabeth of Hungary for 2 years. I transitioned to St. Thomas Aquinas, where I spent the last 8 years of my teaching career.

I began tutoring during the summer of 2015 and have grown to love the individualized instruction to help fill in the gaps for students. This is one of the many reasons I started my own tutoring business!

I have two dogs named Rocky and Penny. One is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the other is a Yorkie Terrier. I love spending time with my family and my dream would be to travel the world!

Hello! I am Ms. Williams and I am the 8th-12th grade math tutor.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have experience as a high school geometry and algebra teacher.

When I was in school, I learned very early on that I was good at math, and through this realization I grew a love for it. I took a UIL Number Sense test, which led me down a spiral to grow my brain in all fast math. With knowing the fast math, I was able to understand mathematics in a more complex manner. I could then help my peers, which grew my passion for teaching and tutoring.

During my time at SFA, I was in the test pilot class for JacksTeach, which is a nationally recognized STEM teacher preparation program. I was immersed into many math classrooms for all four of my college years, which led me to know that high school math is for me!

Outside of the classroom and tutor space, I love to cook up new recipes. I also enjoy playing video and board games with my friends and family!
